AND SO WE'LL GO AHEAD AND GET STARTED WITH THAT.
SO, AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR WHEN JOHN GARY STARTED, UH, ONE OF THE FIRST CONVERSATIONS WE HAD IN EARLY JANUARY WAS A BUS OPERATOR GOAL OF 75.
AND WE LANDED ON, ACTUALLY, IT WAS 50, AND THEN WE INCREASED IT TO 75.
SO IT, IT IS AN AGGRESSIVE GOAL TO GIVE YOU SOME PERSPECTIVE.
UH, IN 2020, WE'RE TRYING TO GET BACK TO THE 2020 LEVEL, WHICH WAS 872.
SO WE'RE MAKING UP, UH, WITH THIS 75 GOAL FOR 2025, WE'RE MAKING UP FIVE YEARS OF KIND OF NEGATIVE DECLINE IN BUS OPERATOR GROWTH.
SO IT'S AN AGGRESSIVE GOAL WHERE YOU'LL SEE THAT, WHERE OUR PROGRESS HERE IS SHORTLY.
BUT, UM, WE ARE LOOKING AT IT FROM THREE DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES, HIRING, TRAINING, AND RETENTION.
SO HERE'S WHERE WE ARE TODAY AT THE END OF MARCH.
WE'VE HAD AN INCREASE OF 22 FULL-TIME BUS OPERATORS SINCE JANUARY OF 2025.
UM, WITH OUR SUPPORT OF WHAT WE HAVE IN HR AND OUR TRAINING DEPARTMENT, I FEEL VERY CONFIDENT AT THIS POINT THAT WE'RE GONNA MAKE THIS GOAL.
JUST SOME OTHER TIDBITS OF SOME, UH, ENHANCEMENTS AND SOME PROGRESS THAT WE'VE MADE.
UM, RIGHT NOW WE'RE BASICALLY OPTIMIZING OUR TRAINING CLASSES.
